Jeff Egan is a senior communications specialist with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, community consultation, issues management, public relations and media management. He has worked in both the public and private sectors across a number of industries including: water, government, infrastructure and property.
Jeff commenced work providing marketing advice to Bufori Luxury Cars, before moving into teaching and commercial training. In 2000 he accepted a position with Senator Helen Coonan as her senior electorate adviser before moving to her Ministerial staff in November 2001.
In 2003 he established the public relations company Flagship Communications together with David Elliott MP, Hon Anthony Roberts MP and Mark Perry.
Flagship Communications specialises in community consultation, stakeholder engagement and media management.
Jeff Egan holds several post graduate qualifications in communications including a Master of Arts Degree in Communication, Graduate Diploma in Organisational Communication and Graduate Certificate of Public Relations, as well as a Bachelor of Education. In addition he also has extensive training in community consultation and stakeholder engagement which includes completing the IAP2 Certificate Course.
He is a Member of both the Public Relations Institute of Australia (NSW Division) and International Association for Public Participation.
